One thing i've just realised is that i'm in the same class as 3 other people from 6C!! Some say i'm damn lucky, but...i dont know. Aiyah. Marissa got into NTSS!! I am wow-ed by the fact she didnt get into her 1st choice. Is the standard rising higher these days?? Just yesterday, my sis made my mouth drop open by saying that my aggregate is the cut off point in the school. But it turns out that my aggregate was NOT the cut-off point for the school. It was 242, Lala's mark. I mean, last years cut-ff point for crescent was 241, and now its 242? And Lala got 242 and did not get in? It really shows...that singapore's standard is wayyyyy high. Anyway, good luck to Clara in St. Margs!! I'm feeling ridiculously bored now. Posting random pics...
My Cousin and I!! Isnt he a handsome lil' lad? Lawl. He's only k2 this year, going into Pr. 1 next year. He's terrrrrribly shy, but he's adorable and VERY fun to be with once you get to know him. Now he's brave enough to even pose for the camera!!

Genting was FREAKINLY awesome!! I'm baaaack, and i have NO regrets going to Genting. Well, maybe i regret not taking the Genting Sky Venture, a simpler form of skydiving. Initially, i wanted to, cos' my 2nd sis dared me to try it. I saw a video of her trying it before, and it didnt seem that bad. So when i got there, it was temporarily closed, due to the mist and a drizzle. So i was advised to go back the next morning, the day of departure. When i went, the weather was STILL not on my side. Tsk. So i had to go back to Singapore feeling disappointed.
But still, my holiday has its perks. I went there with two of my cousins, Iris and Serene. And i almost forgot, Hansel and Colleen. And Kristine.Yep yep. But my fave 2 cousins on my mum's side are still Iris and Serene. I mean, dude, Kristine is still a toddler, and Hansel and Colleen are pre-schoolers. The other bigger cousins or around my age cousins are not as close to me as Iris or Serene, but i still like ALL my cousins.
Anyway, as i was saying, i thought this trip would be rather dull cos' Serene was inclined to take those slow-motioned family rides like the monorail or ferris wheel. For those thrillers, i dont think she was too keen. Iris is more adventurous, but she could easily get freaked out by some scary-looking rides. I, on the other hand, am looking for thrillers. So, a vast different choice of rides made us argue over which rides to take. I think i mentioned about the thunder mine train in my previous entry, that i "die die want to take". Well, we argued over that, cos' i wanted to take, and Serene didnt want to take it. Iris looked like she was torn between the both of us. In the end, i decided to forgo my ride and wait for them while both of them took a family ride. Then, i heard one of my aunts mentioning that Aunt Dolly, her housekeeper, went to take the thunder mine train. My mum was shocked. There was a conversation:
Mum: Where's your maid?
AuntJZ: Oh...she has gone to take a train ride...i think its thunder mine train...
Mum: Wah...she so adventurous ah??
AuntJZ: Yah, she like to take challenging rides one.
I was thinking, FINALLY!! At last someone to take the rides with me!! So Aunt Dolly and I, for the whole afternoon, took rides together!! We took the flying coaster, where you lie down, then you swoop down a slope, still lying down and then you get turned side ways and upside down, still lying down. It was smashing, in a jerky sense, and i would DEFINATELY take it again. I also took the thunder mine train with her, and the drop was unexpected. I was screaming like siao during the drop, cos' well, it was unexpected!! I wasnt the only one screaming, ither. People behing me were screaming when their turn came for the drop.
I also took the freakiest attraction in the outdoor theme park; the SPACE SHOT. I was intrigued at first by the way the ride shoots you up to about 12 storeys high, then it just drops you like that. So i decided to try it. While queuing, i made a new friend. She sounds like she has came from taiwan, cos' she speaks chinese mainly, though her english is not bad either. She asked me about my PSLE results, about how many As i got. I answered her, and she told me she got 2 As. Heh.
So i was first in line for the space shot, and believe me, when i'm at the highest point of the ride, at 12 storeys above ground level, full capable of seeing the whole of Genting before me, about to be dropped freely from 12 storeys, i WAS NOT CALM. i shaking like an idiot, not because it was cold, but because i knew the drop wasnt going to be slow and comfortable. So the thing dropped. I screamed. It was like your heart is in your mouth, and your are not sitting on your seat. Its like dropping in the air with something pressing against your shoulders, causing you to drop faster than you would when you skydive. It was thrilling!! Aunt Dolly later confided in me that the Space Shot was the ONLY ride she screamed. I was pretty shocked, considering the other thrillers we took. Then i took with my new friend the Viking, and we parted, cos' she had to go to Snow World @ 5, and i was going to Snow World @ 8.30pm. Before dinner, Aunt Dolly and I took the new 4D Motion Master. Its like Sentosa's 4D magix, just that the seats move more smoothly. I took some more rides, then it was time for snow world. I sat the Cresta Run!! Boy, it was fun!! Cresta Run is a ride where you lug this float-like thing uphill to the top of hill, then you sit on it and speed all the way downhill! It was awesoooome.
Of all the genting trips, this HAS got to be the BEST!

I got the BIGGEST shock of my life after chinese tuition on sunday. I mean, i was just released from the sec 1 prep course for chinese @ Eduplus @ Ulu Pandan CC, then my mum, who had came to pick me up, wanted to go to some shops near the ghim moh wet market to get some pastries, so i had to tag along. On the way, i passed by this fruit stall which was closing...heard someone talking loudly, looked towards the fruit shop...saw mrs PAULINE TAN. I was totally stunned. She saw me staring at her, and she waved and smiled at me. I was speechless. Dude, that was unexpected! So, just to be polite, i waved back. We hardly said a word.
Am going Genting tomorrow. Expecting to take billions of rides!. Pray that it doesnt rain on fri. If it does...no more Outdoor Theme Park!! Even though i've been there for like 5 times already, i still want to take the rides!! My sister also challenged me to go for the Genting Sky Venture thingy, where you can actually fly in a dome-like thing. I've never tried it before. 33ringgit, i think. Well, i'm DEFINATELY going for it. My cousins cant go, they havnt met the minimum required weight, which is 35kg. Well...looks like i have to go alone if none of the adults are willing to follow me. I am also going to try the Haunted Adventure if possible. Those two rides are a "die die must try"!! I havnt gone to the snow world in genting yet, so i might have a go at it too. And the flying coaster!! Boy, i want to try!! But all these rides must pay separately from the package tickets, so...
And Genting is going to come up with a Viking!! According to my 2nd sis, the pirate ship may be ready in the dec holidays, so i'm going to check it out! Plus, i didnt get to take the thunder mine train in Japan DNL, so the thunder mine train in Genting is also a "die die must try"!!
Have been watching movies regularly now...want to watch Night @ museum!! Maybe Eragon...but i have to wait and see if i have won free movie tickets to Eragon first...cos' i took part in the contest...and results are not out yet...hmm.
Have just been talking to Marissa online on msn. She seems happy in Japan. Shes coming back tomorrow. Sigh. Sarah's bent on having a Meritta+Marissa combined birthday celebration when all of us, including Clara L, are back. Arent you, Sarah? Hehe.
Looks like the posting results are drawing nearer, and my nerves are going to get the better of me. Well...i guess theres nothing to be worried about, but i cant help it!! =)

Sis took a flight to San Fransisco today. Dad and I went to send her off. Went to starbucks firsts to have a cuppa. I didnt fnacy coffee, so my sis got me something else. But i wasnt hungry lar. So i couldnt finish it, and in the end the drink went to my dad. =p. Then we stopped by Times bookstore, cos' my sis wanted to get a book, so i ventured around on my own. I saw Eragon!! I soooo wanted to buy it, and Eldest too!! Urgh...but my dad says borrowing from a public library would be a better option. *sigh* Not that its exactly cheap, it costs $12++ for Eragon alone! I didnt check out Eldest. My sis had to go in liao. So we just bid farewell, and went back. She'll be back again in June for a short holiday then off again to study. She has a stopover at Hong Kong, about four hours after taking off from Singapore. Dad says Tokyo would be a better choice, cos' then the flight to S.F. would only be around 10 hours. Speaking of Tokyo, i miss Tokyo!! It must be freezing there now, i mean, its Winter!! Maris is there now, and Aud is going there this thurs. Sigh. Whys EVERYONE going Tokyo now?????????
My birthday was ok. Third Aunt came over for a mini celebration. I got a birthday cake, jellies and ice cream sweets. Was elated. Birthday cake was deeeeeelicious! -smacks lips- It had fruits on top and cream and something else below. It was nice for a change. I mean, my mum likes to get me choc cakes!! Then i got some presents. My 1st sis gave moi Tycoon games!! Ahh, i wanted the tycoon games for as long as i can remember!!
Then the next day, i went to Clara's hse for sleepover. Reached her grandma's hse around 11+. We went there because her grandma's hse got mini theatre, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Lol. So we played X-box and PS2 first while awaiting lunch and i was pretty bad at Halo, but i better at another fighting game played on PS2. I even won Clara a few times. =))). Then we had Udon noodle for lunch and crispy side-dishes. I kept on eating the cripsy stuff, i had no space for udon after that!! So we went to play the comp for a while, with my tycoon games. Unluckily, the comp wasnt working, so we had to settle for playing the x-box and PS2 again. Then after that, we went swimming in the pool and i attempted to stand on a board. I kept falling down! Harrumph. Then clara and I raced in the pool. Not telling who won. =p. Then we played this game where one of her kakaks throws coins into the pool, and when the coins sinks, we have to race and get it. It was hilarious, the way clara and i tried to get it!
We played some more games in the pool, then it was time to go to Clara's house. I met her sis, Karen and bro, Chester(which she named herself), then we fooled around with them, then i met the dogs. Golden, a golden retriever, and jojo, i dont know what breed it is. but whatever, the dogs were friendly enough and i got dog drool all over me!! Ewwww! Clara insisted i get changed into one of her clothes, cos' i didnt bring extra clothing with me, i brought just right. So we went to Taka for dinner and we ate at Pepper lunch. Yummmmmy!
Then we went to Kinokuniya to browse through some books and clara bought 2 books, i bought one, and her sis bought 2 books and 1 toy. Then we played comp games and watched a movie @ 11+. Well, it was darn good fun!
